FAQ
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by March 1st 2023, so we can have an accurate headcount.
Can I bring a date?
Check who is listed on your invite for your +1.
Are kids invited?
As much as we truly adore your little ones, our wedding & reception will be an adults-only affair. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at the Friday rehearsal dinner (for those attending) and Sunday brunch (welcome to all)! We will also be providing a babysitting service at the Hotel Figueroa during the event if you cannot find other accommodations for them. Please reach out if you have questions!
What should I wear?
Go big or go home! Dress code is formal, but we truly hope that this will give everyone the opportunity to break out the outfit that makes them feel their best! Don’t worry about particular colors - the bolder, the better (and Colleen genuinely doesn’t care if you wear white). We highly encourage you to embrace the spirit of the event, which will be just so, so extra.
Where should I park?
There are several paid parking lots within a block or two of the venue - including one right across the street. That said, unless you have a designated driver or won’t be drinking - we always encourage a ride-share service!
What will the weather be like?
It’s LA, so let’s be real - it’s going to be warmer than where most of you live. That said, it will still be early April, so anything goes! In the past, the weather has been warm and sunny on April 1st, with temps approximately 65-80 degrees during the day and 50-60 degrees at night - but a rainjacket wouldn’t be amiss just in case.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes! You can enter from the street and we’ll be moving folks up to the reception floor via elevator. The only part of the reception that is not wheelchair accessible will be the rooftop (the trouble with historic venues).
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Indoors, but weather permitting we’ll have rooftop access.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony - we have photographers for that and cell phones sticking up out of a crowd look silly in professional photos. Otherwise, go nuts!
Colleen would like to add that she tends to prefer experiencing moments sans-camera - not to mention that there will be incredible photographers and opportunities to take photos at the event. So don’t feel obligated to be a documentarian! This celebration is as much for you as it is for us, so feel free to relax and enjoy the moment!
Who should I text if I have questions?
Feel free to reach out to us (Colleen & Nick) if you have any questions in the lead-up, but in the week before the wedding, please reach out to our incredible Maid of Honor, Nicole Wilson, at 310-562-3251.
